Creating spaces for learning and development.
Conversations, based in lived experiences.
For parents, carers and professionals.
Digital Inclusion Safety Training exists to develop understanding around safety and inclusion online for adults and young people who may be more at risk.

The digital landscape is changing rapidly. Many of us struggle to understand how we might mitigate risks for our ourselves, in our work and for those we care for or support.
DIST provides space for anyone involved in the support of young people or adults more at risk or vulnerable online due to their personal circumstances, life experiences or special educational needs.
There is a huge amount of advice and information out there, but we are in an era of unprecedented data alongside the cost of living crisis and multiple competing demands on our time. Additionally, when caring for or supporting someone with special needs/considerations it can be hard to find tools and support that are a good fit.
At DIST we feel it’s important to develop our understanding of the impact of an increasingly online world. It feels there are no simple answers, but together we might discover more about the questions we should be asking. The DIST project is developing. We are beginning by having conversations, with people concerned about the impact of digitisation, with young people and those caring for or supporting in any capacity the more at risk members of our society.
